Trump Wants Less Legal Protection for Social Media. According to American media, President Trump may propose on Thursday to make it easier to sue social media.

Trump has long felt that social media is biased when it comes to political or philosophical issues and that they keep conservative messages.

Following an alert Twitter posted to Trump messages, he angrily announced steps.

Social media giants enjoy legal protection under US law from complainants about material that users post on the networks.

The Communication Communication Decency states that social media cannot be held responsible for the content.

Trump would like to get the regulator, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), to limit that protection.

Social media may then be involved in numerous lawsuits due to claims by people who believe that, for example, partisan or indecent messages have appeared.
