The British royal family shared a new photo of Queen Elizabeth the night from Wednesday to Thursday. The photo, in which she is portrayed with two white horses, has been shared via the socials of the royals on the occasion of her 96th birthday.

“Her Majesty’s photo was taken last month at the Windsor Castle estate,” the caption reads. The four-legged friends are called Bybeck Katie and Bybeck Nightingale, and it is also revealed.

The British Queen is celebrating her birthday at her Sandringham estate in Norfolk. Elizabeth is reportedly staying at Wood Farm, part of the estate where Prince Philip spent the last years. The Queen has loved coming there since his death last year.

The Queen has had a turbulent year. After the death of her husband, Prince Philip, in April last year, she had to deal with the abuse case involving her son Prince Andrew. Her health was also failing her more and more. For example, she got corona at the beginning of this year, and she no longer seems as mobile as before.

In June, the British celebrate the 70th anniversary of Elizabeth’s reign. Naturally, the Queen wants to be present at as many festivities as possible, but the question is whether that is possible because of her health. This year, she only appeared in public at Prince Philip’s memorial service in London last month.
