In the United States, 691 people died from the coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
That is the lowest number in a week, according to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University on Sunday.
To date, more than 110,000 people in the U.S. have officially died of the lung virus. The total number of confirmed contamination cases is 1,938,842.
The United States has by far the most cases of Covid-19 and deaths in the world.
The virus has killed over 400,000 people worldwide since it appeared in China late last year.
