McDonald’s has sold more fast food recently than in the same period last year. More turnover was also realized compared to the first quarter of 2019, before the corona pandemic.
Especially in the critical American home market, there has been a significant increase.
This was partly due to introducing a new chicken burger and the support measures from the American government, which gave consumers a little more to spend.
In the first quarter of 2021, the fast-food chain posted 7.5 percent more annual sales in stores that had also opened a year ago.
McDonald’s benefited from the multitude of drive-thru restaurants as well as the commitment to delivery.
