Oracle Releases Java 20 With Thousands of Improvements

Oracle has announced a new version of Java, one of the world’s most widely used programming languages and development platforms.

According to the developer, Java 20 (Oracle JDK 20) offers “thousands of improvements” in performance, stability and security.

The latest features of Java 20 are being showcased these days at the Oracle DevLive Level Up event, March 20-23, in Redwood Shores, USA, which is also available online.

The latest Java Development Kit (JDK) includes updates and improvements with seven so-called JDK Enhancement Proposals (JEPs). Most of these updates are follow-ups that improve functionality introduced in previous releases.
