Athlete Schippers Celebrated in Lausanne. Athlete Dafne Schippers finished fourth in the Diamond League in the Swiss Lausanne in the 100 meters, writes Planet Engine.

 

The time of the Dutch sprinter was 11.02, one hundredth above her best season performance.

The race was won by Marie-Josée Ta Lou from Ivory Coast, 10.90. The Jamaican Elaine Thompson was second (10.99), ahead of the American Jenna Prandini (11.00).

Jamile Samuel, fourth in Paris last week, finished second in the 200 meters. Her time was 22.68. Winner Gabrielle Thomas from the United States finished in 22.47.
