British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is “not optimistic” that Russian President Vladimir Putin really wants peace.
Johnson told BBC Newsnight during the night from Thursday to Friday that the attacks on Ukrainian cities will only intensify if it is up to Putin.
Johnson thinks Putin plans to do the same with the cities in Ukraine as what happened in the Chechen capital Grozny.
That city was besieged and bombed by Russia between 1999 and 2000.
