American actor and former wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and his wife have contracted the coronavirus.
The two young daughters of the couple also tested positive for the virus, and the actor says in a video on Instagram on Wednesday.
Daughters Jasmine (4) and Tiana (2) Johnson only had a sore throat, but Johnson and his wife had it a lot harder themselves, the actor says. The whole family is on the mend after three weeks and is no longer contagious.
“We count our blessings because we are very aware that not everyone works out well here.” The actor claims that the couple’s good condition helped them overcome the virus.
The family contracted the coronavirus through contact with close friends. Dwayne, therefore, wants to warn his fans. “Just because you love and trust people doesn’t mean they can’t infect you without knowing it.”
In the post, The Rock urges fans to take their responsibility during the corona crisis. “Stay disciplined.
Work on your immune system. Make yourself comfortable. Wear your mask. Protect your family. Be cautious about visiting your home or other gatherings. Stay positive. And think about other people.”
