Cinemas in California will be open again this weekend. However, the number of allowed visitors per room is limited, reports the Department of Health of the largest US state.
In each room, visitors must keep a distance of two meters from each other and wear mouth masks, except when eating or drinking.
Only a quarter of the total number of seats, with a maximum of 100, they were maybe occupied per performance. The rooms are also inspected before use and must be released for use by the authorities.
Cinemas have been closed for three months due to the coronavirus outbreak in the US.
The Hollywood film studios hope that with the opening of the cinemas, there will still be income to get the expensive blockbusters out of the costs.
The National Cinema Owners Association hopes that U.S. cinemas will run at 90 percent capacity by mid-July.
