Transavia will gradually restart its flight schedule from June 4. According to the airline, this can be done by relaxing progressively travel restrictions in Europe.
Customers would also be interested in travelling again.
From June 4, Transavia flies from Amsterdam to six destinations in Greece, Portugal and Spain.
Every week it will be investigated whether and which flights and additional destinations can be added shortly.
“This is an important decision after a nine-week period in which we have not flown except for the repatriation flights,” said CEO Marcel de Nooijer.
“The situation changes every day, and safe and healthy flying is and remains our most important starting point.
Nevertheless, we have found the right balance between the measures that exist per country, the entry options and the wishes of our passengers.
It goes without saying that we also take extra measures to make flying as safe as possible.”
