Corona-infected US President Donald Trump is back in the White House. The presidential helicopter returned him and landed on the lawn on the south side of the White House.

Trump wore a face mask when he left the hospital Monday night and walked on his own to a car that took him to the presidential helicopter.

The president also emerged from the helicopter at the White House wearing a face mask. He waved, raised his thumb, and walked up the stairs to the White House himself.

At the doors of the White House, he took off his face mask and saluted the flag of the United States.

The president will receive a fifth dose of the antiviral drug remdesivir in the White House on Tuesday, his doctors announced Monday. Trump would not have had a fever for over 72 hours. He was given oxygen twice.

The president had been in the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, just outside Washington, since Friday.

Trump had previously stated that he was feeling really good. He reported to his followers on Twitter that he was not afraid of the coronavirus. “Don’t let it rule your life. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”
