The obituary of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman was the most shared Twitter message of 2020.

 

The message, sent from Boseman’s account, was shared more than 2.1 million times and liked 7.5 million times. This number was reached within 24 hours after the message was posted, the trade magazine Variety reports Monday.

The posts with the most likes this year posted President Barack Obama commemorating late sports hero Kobe Bryant, a birthday message from Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin (“hey guys, you wanna feel old? I’m 40 – you ‘ re welcome “) and the Tweet from vice-president-to-be Kamala Harris after Joe Biden was named America’s newly elected president.

The most-reported person on Twitter in 2020 was US President Donald Trump, who is about to step down.

The rest of the top 5 consists of US President-elect Joe Biden, George Floyd (the black man killed by a white cop), Kobe Bryant, and Barack Obama. The most talked about a woman on Twitter was Kamala Harris.
